Israeli troops have re-arrested another of the Palestinians released in October under a swap deal with Israel, the Palestinian Prisoners\' Society said on Tuesday. It said that it had been notified by the family of Ezzedine Abu Sneineh, 19, that he was arrested by troops at a military checkpoint on Sunday as he tried to reach his home in the southern West Bank city of Hebron. The army did not confirm or deny the report. Several of those freed in the Shalit exchange are already back behind bars. On March 8, troops seized Khaled Makhrameh in the village of Yatta, near Hebron in a search operation during which another Palestinian was shot dead. Haneh Shalabi was arrested on February 16 in Burqin village near the northern West Bank town of Jenin, on suspicion that she \"posed a threat to the area\" an army spokesman told AFP at the time. She has been on hunger strike since. Earlier in February troops in Hebron re-arrested a member of the Islamist Hamas movement, who was also released under the swap agreement. And on January 31, Ayman Sharawna, 36, from the village of Dura, south of Hebron was also taken back into custody. Under terms of the October swap deal, Israel freed more than 1,000 Palestinian prisoners in two stages in exchange for the release of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit who was snatched by Gaza-based militants in June 2006.
