The Iranian ambassador in Rome Mohammad-Ali Hosseini said commitment to Istanbul2 agreements are the focal point of upcoming talks between Iran and the Group 5+1 in Moscow, according to \"Irna\" news agency. On recent telephone conversation of the Secretary of Iran\'s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Saeid Jalili and European Union Foreign Policy and Security Chief Catherin Ashton, he said the two sides have expressed hope that Tehran and the 5+1 group could develop common ideas in Moscow. Hosseini described the Moscow meeting as an opportunity for reaching new agreements. While the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said preparations for the meeting of the Six international mediators group with Iran in Moscow is proceeding fundamentally, in line with the Baghdad round results. \"Preparations for the meeting in Moscow to be held on June 18-19 are going on very fundamentally,\" said the high-ranking diplomat.
