Japan's PM Reshuffles Cabinet, Appoints Inada Defence Minister

Japanese top government spokesman Yoshihide Suga announced Japan's new Cabinet lineup Wednesday, featuring a new defense minister with a history of hawkish views, in the third reshuffle since Shinzo Abe returned as prime minister in December 2012. 
Nearly half of the Cabinet members have been retained in their current posts, including Finance Minister Taro Aso, Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida and Economic and Fiscal Policy Minister Nobuteru Ishihara, according to Japan's (Kyodo) News Agency. 
Tomomi Inada, policy chief in Abe's Liberal Democratic Party, has replaced Gen Nakatani as defense minister. Inada is known for her rapport with Abe on security and foreign policy and has been outspoken on controversial historical issues involving Asian neighbors.
