Jewish settlers inhabiting the largest illegal outpost in the West Bank have conducted a deal with the government to move to a community built by the state. According to the Israeli newspaper (Jerusalem Post), the land on which Migron is now located will then be handed over to the Israeli Civil Administration, which has agreed to consider using the site for a public civic project. The settlers currently located at the Migron outpost will be moved to a nearby hill. \"This agreement is intended to fulfill the Supreme Court ruling and to prevent unpleasant scenes that we have seen in other places where there was an eviction and demolition of houses,\" Migron settlers\' spokesman Itai Hemo said. The Israeli Supreme Court had ordered the Migron outpost, north of Jerusalem, to be demolished by the end of March.
