Jordan, Britain review Syrian refugees’ issue

Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh on Tuesday discussed with British International development secretary Andrew Mitchell, means of forging closer bilateral ties, the escalating situation in Syria and its ramification on Jordan. Judeh highlighted efforts and services provided by Jordan to more than 150,000 Syrian refugees in the educational and health fields despite the difficult economic conditions facing the Kingdom, Petra news agency reported. The British official stressed his country’s keenness to support Jordan in providing services to Syrian refugees. He also said Britain will offer an additional 10 million Sterling to UN agencies assisting Syrian refugees.
