The Jordanian Minister of State for Information Affairs Samih al-Maaytah reiterated his country's stance which calls for dialogue to solve the crisis in Syria, adding that this stance aims to preserve Syria's unity and stability and reject intervention in its internal affairs. Al-Maaytah said to the Jordanian news agency Petra that Jordan still calls for a political solution and has been doing so since the beginning of the crisis in Syria, adding that this stance seeks to preserve unity and stability in Syria, in addition to rejecting intervention in the its internal affairs. He added that any positive stances that come from the sides of crisis in Syria to enhance the political solution and encourage dialogue to reach a peaceful resolution deserve support. He also pointed out that finding a solution for the crisis in Syria is the best way to end the violence and the suffering of the Syrians, calling on the international community to deal with these stances positively and work to realize them in a political process which preserves the unity of Syria and ends the violence, in addition to restoring security.
