
Jordanian King Abdullah II and US Secretary of State John Kerry discussed the Palestinian issue and the Syrian conflict, the Royal court said. King Abdullah received a phone call from Kerry Friday during which the two men discussed the developments in the Middle East and ongoing efforts to achieve peace, as well as the crisis in neighboring Syria which killed more than 100,000 people, it added in a statement. King Abdullah and Kerry also discussed the bolstering of bilateral relations and cooperation, it added. US State Department announced yesterday that Kerry would be visiting Jordan as part of a regional tour that will start on Sunday, which will take him to Palestine and Israel. During the tour, it said, Kerry would discuss the Palestinian file, the Syrian conflict and the Iranian nuclear program
