Jordanian King Abdullah II praised on Wednesday Kuwait's Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the State of Kuwait for hosting the International Humanitarian Pledging Conference for Syria. He also thanked the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon for calling for this conference. The Jordanian Monarch stressed on the importance of establishing a refugee support fund to face the crisis in the region, especially the Syrian crisis which calls for additional efforts to lessen the suffering of the Syrian people. Jordan hosted thousands of Syrian refugees, and will continue to receive fleeing Syrians, which require financial funding to fulfill their humanitarian needs. King Abdullah II assured that the Jordanian delegation will present a detailed report on the situation of the Syrian refugees in Jordan.
