
Director General of Jordan\'s Public Security Directorate (PSD), General Tawfiq Al-Tawalbah, and a number of Kuwaiti citizens held a meeting here late Tuesday, focusing on a number of issues pertaining to bilateral ties as well as obstacles faced by Kuwaiti nationals in Jordan. After the meeting, which was held at the residence of Kuwait Ambassador to Jordan Dr. Hamad Al-Duaij, Al-Tawalbah told KUNA that relations with Kuwait were very strong, affirming that the two states were eager to pursue more cooperation in all fields. On issues facing Kuwaiti nationals in Jordan, Al-Tawalbah said that dialogue between Jordan and Kuwait would hopefully resolve any obstacles, affirming that the concerns of Kuwaiti nationals are of priority for Jordanian authorities. On his part, Kuwaiti Ambassador Al-Duaij commended the continuous efforts by officials in both countries to further develop relations and resolve any issues that might cause distress. He called on Kuwaiti nationals residing in Jordan, amongst them many students, to follow Jordanian law and stay up to date with the Jordanian legal system. Al-Duaij also affirmed that such meetings should be held regularly to avoid any misunderstandings
