
Jordan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Judeh stressed the need to create an environment conducive to relaunching serious and effective negotiations towards setting up a Palestinian state along the July 4th, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
Judeh made the remarks during a meeting with UN Special Envoy to the Middle East Peace Process Nickolay Mladenov, the two discussed developments in the Palestinian arena and efforts to push the Middle East peace process forward.
The UN diplomat highlighted the key role Jordan plays to achieve regional peace and stability.
