The State of South Sudan plans to open a new page of relations with Sudan to promote regional security and stability and to move relations towards full normalization, which can achieve mutual benefits and promote the common denominators. This came in a statement Pagan Amum, head of the negotiating delegation of South Sudan gave today to Al Sudani newspaper. He said that “the upcoming summit between Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir, and President of South Sudan Salva Kiir due to be hosted Juba, will strengthen these trends, and will consider the issue of Abyei, as well as the need to reach a comprehensive solution to this region.
