Judeh discusses Syria, Palestine with British MP

Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Judeh on Monday met with British Labour Party MP and shadow cabinet member Douglas Alexander. They discussed the situation in Syria, stressing the need for a peaceful solution to the crisis. The two politicians also discussed the need to restart negotiations between the Palestinians and Israelis. Alexander, the Shadow Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, reiterated Britain’s respect for Jordan under His Majesty King Abdullah’s leadership, especially in the reform process and regional peace efforts.
