Judge killed, 4 civilians injured in Mosque explosion in southern Afghanistan

A provincial judge was killed and four civilians were wounded in a bomb blast at a mosque in Afghanistan's southern Uruzgan province on Monday morning. The incident happened in Tarin Kowt, the provincial capital of Uruzgan. The judge was identified as Taj Mohammad, provincial police chief Farid Hayeel said. "A bomb had been placed inside the mosque," Hayeel said. No one has as yet been arrested in connection with the incident but the police have started an investigation, according to Mr Hayeel. No group including the Taliban has claimed responsibility for the blast.
