Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa expressed regret over yesterday’s incidents which happened while all parties agreed to sit at the table of dialogue to reach a consensus on pending contentious political issues. He stressed, in a statement issued today, the government’s resolve to prevent using violence as a tool to pressurize decisions taken by parties involved in the dialogue. He said anyone who has got real demands should not incite violence or use those demands as a pretext to justify violence. He called on all to be up to their historic national responsibilitis for the best interest of Bahrain and its people. He underscored the government’s dedicated efforts to continue dilaogue, being the civilizational way to settle differences in democratic societies. He reiterated the government’s call to renounce violence, respect the law and human rights.
