Karzai arrives in Pakistan

The president of Afghanistan Hamid Karazai arrived today in Pakistan for an official visit during which he will meet with a number of Pakistani officials. During the visit, Karzai is scheduled to review means of enhancing bilateral relations. He will also participate in the Pak-Afghan-Iran summit, committed to promoting regional cooperation and strengthening peace and stability. Afghan and Pakistani Presidents will set up a comprehensive session of talks focusing on promoting bilateral cooperation in areas of security and economy as well as discussing the current reconciliation process in Afghanistan.
