US Secretary of State John Kerry said on Friday that the threat of Daesh terrorist group will vanish soon in Iraq and Syria.
Speaking at a press conference at the headquarters of the US Embassy in Baghdad, Kerry said his country will not interfere in the anticipated cabinet reshuffle in Iraq.
Washington wants a unified Iraqi government that can bring about political stability and support the anti-Daesh war, he added.
The US-led military coalition targeted about 1,200 Daesh-held oil establishments in the past period, he noted.
