Khalifa receives Turkmenistan deputy PM

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan received on Thursday afternoon at Al Rawda Palace in Al Ain the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan, Rashit Meredow. Welcoming Meredow, Sheikh Khalifa expressed his desire for further development and growth in relations between the two countries. Meredow conveyed to Sheikh Khalifa the greetings of Turkmenistan’s President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow. Sheikh Khalifa reciprocated, wishing Berdimuhamedow good health and happiness and expressing his hope that the friendly people of Turkmenistan would enjoy continued progress and prosperity. The UAE President stressed the country’s eagerness to strengthen and develop co-operation and bilateral investment between the two countries. The meeting also reviewed co-operation and the existing friendly relations between the two countries and means of strengthening them in addition to discussing the latest international developments. Meredow praised the comprehensive renaissance witnessed by the UAE under the leadership of Sheikh Khalifa.
