Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah said Monday he was looking forward that the December 10-11 Summit would add another pillar for the common action among the six GCC countries. "I look forward for the next summit that will be held tomorrow to add another solid pillar for the cooperation in all fields to cement the common action," Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled told a preparatory meeting of the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). This common action, he said, was backed by the leaders of the Arab Gulf countries for more than three decades with the major objectives of honoring aspirations of the people of the Gulf. "I wish our meeting would contribute to the development of the GCC countries," said Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, in order to contribute to the prosperity of the Gulf people. The foreign ministers will be putting final touches on the draft resolutions and final communique before referring them to the GCC leaders. The foreign ministers then held closed-door discussions.
