The Foreign Ministry summoned on Monday the Iranian ambassador to the country over detention of two Kuwaiti citizens in Iran.Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Khaled Suliman Al-Jarallah summoned Rouhullah Qahremani Chabok, the Ministry said in an official statement.Discussions during the meeting dealt with the issue of arresting two Kuwaiti nationals by the Iranian authorities.The undersecretary asked the diplomat to contact the relevant authorities in the Islamic Republic and seek release of the two citizens, as soon as possible.The official statement added that there was affirmation, during the meeting, as to pursue contacts between the two sides to secure release of the two Kuwaitis.The meeting was attended by the Director of the Bureau of the Undersecretary, Ayham Abdul-Latif Al-Omar.
