Kuwait hopes Iran responds to UAE\'s initiatives on occupied islands

The state of Kuwait has expressed hope that Islamic Republic of Iran will respond to the initiatives of United Arab Emirates to resolve the issue of the three islands of Lesser and Greater Tunb and Abu Musa, occupied by Iran, according to the principles and rules of international law. The Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah in his speech before the 67th session of the United Nations General Assembly, has called Iran to take serious and effective steps in cooperating with international efforts reaching at a political settlement to its nuclear program.
