
The Kuwait-Japan Parliamentary Friendship Committee met on Tuesday to discuss bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways and means of bolstering and cementing them in various fields, especially the parliamentary one. The meeting, which took place at the National Assembly, was attended by the co-chairmen of the Kuwait-Japan Parliamentary Friendship Committee, MP Khaleel Abdullah and Teruhiko Mashiko, a member of the House of Councillors in the parliament. Mashiko is in Kuwait to lead a visiting Japanese delegation participating in joint friendship committee meetings. The Japanese guests were welcomed to the parliament by National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah.
