
National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim on Sunday called for safeguarding national unity and expressed HIS belief that bids to foment sedition would fail due to citizens' awareness. "No one accepts harm against any segment of the society," Al-Ghanim said, in a statement at the NA headquarters. Preserving national unity is a responsibility on shoulders of all citizens, he stressed. Regarding the November 26 parliamentary session, the Parliament Speaker said all interpellation motions that had been submitted to the NA Secretariat-General would be included in the agenda. All these motions will be debated, he said, indicating that a follow-up session for these issues could be held the next day if necessary. Other extraordinary sessions could be held to endorse bills in case the interpellations' issue time-consuming marathon deliberations, he elaborated. Asked whether he predicts government reshuffle in the foreseeable future, Al-Ghanim, said this issue falls within the premier's jurisdictions.
