State of Kuwait's Ambassador to Lebanon Abdulal Al-Ginaee condemned on Friday the Thursday "terrorist explosion" that targeted a district in Beirut's southern suburbs killing and wounding scores of innocent citizens. In a statement to KUNA, the ambassador described yesterday's bombing attack "a terrorist and criminal act, designed to undermine Lebanon's security and stability." He affirmed the State of Kuwait stand on Lebanon's side "in such difficult circumstances," urged Lebanese to close ranks and be vigilant in face of such "criminal acts." The ambassador expressed condolences to families of the victims and wished the injured quick recovery. A booby-trapped car, driven by a suicide bomber, blew up in Haret Hreik killing four people and wounding more than 60 others. The blast occurred in the afternoon on a bustling street teeming with motorists and pedestrians, many were at nearby restaurants and cafes.
