
Al-Benyyan charity campaign has given USD 80,000 to aid some 500 Syrian families in Jordan, head of the charity campaign announced Saturday.Abdulhamid Al-Bilali told KUNA that the donations were delivered to Syrian refugees located in Mafraq, Al-Ramtha and Irbid governorates. Some of the donation money went to a hospital and a health center that treat the Syrian sick and injured.The three-day campaign was part of the Kuwaiti efforts to support the Syrian refugees and alleviate their suffering, especially in the harsh winter conditions.Al-Bilali noted that Kuwait's support will continue until this humanitarian crisis reaches its end.
