Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah discussed with his Macedonian counterpart Nikola Poposki in New York last night ways to strengthen and deepen economic relations between their countries. It was a very \"pleasant meeting. The two friendly countries already have a history of excellent relations which we will try to even further strengthen and deepen,\" Poposki told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) following the meeting. \"One of the focuses on which we can have this constructive cooperation with Kuwait is the economic area,\" he said. \"We had a very interesting discussion on the regional prospective, on the possibilities to strengthen and deepen the economic cooperation, on the possibilities to have even stronger relations and better correlated actions in the multilateral environment such as the United Nations,\" he added. Sheikh Mohammed is in New York as part of the Kuwaiti delegation headed by Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah who represents the Kuwaiti Emir at the activities of the General-Assembly\'\'s 66th session.
