Kuwait\'s National Assembly Speaker Jassem Al-Kharafi is due to arrive in Iran on Friday to attend an international conference in support of the Palestinian Intifada in Tehran tomorrow. The Kuwaiti speaker concluded a four-day official visit to Morocco on Friday and proceeded to Iran to attend the gathering on Palestine and have meetings with senior Iranian officials on bilateral ties and regional developments. In a statement he made upon his departure for Iran, the speaker said, \"It is now a high time for supporting the brotherly Palestinian people for establishing their independent state and ending the Zionist occupation and returning the Palestinian refugees home.\" However, the top Kuwaiti legislator affirmed the necessity that the Palestinians resolve their disputes and unify their efforts to attain their legitimate rights. e also praised the role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in support of the Palestinians. Al-Kharafi started the official visit to Morocco on Tuesday, accompanied by a high-caliber parliamentary delegation. On Wednesday, he held talks with Moroccan Prime Minister Abbas El-Fassi and Speaker of the House of Representatives Abdulwahed Al-Radi.
