A landslide instigated by Israeli excavations has shook the main street in Wadi Helwa district, which extends from the south wall of al-Aqsa mosque in the direction of Hay El-Bostan, Selwan. The landslide took place near the historic Al Ain mosque as a result of the continuous excavations by Israeli occupation authorities and Jewish settler groups below the street and the citizens\' houses, Palestinian sources reported today. The excavations are in attempt to dig tunnels towards al-Aqsa mosque\'s south wall. Witnesses have revealed new cracks in buildings and through the street that could lead to a crisis if not handled quickly. On another note, house walls have collapsed due to heavy rainfall in Wadi Kadoum at Selwan, south al-Aqsa. Witnesses said that this has caused great financial damage, but no injuries were reported.
