
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said his country is ready for sending its diplomats and military experts to Geneva to resume talks with the US on a settlement in Aleppo, Russia Today news channel reported.
During a press conference with Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida, Lavrov said there is a sign of new contacts between Moscow and Washington on Syria.
He added that US State Secretary John Kerry handed over to Russia a package of proposals on Syria that conforms with the Russian stand.
