
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Tuesday that his country will take measures if additional Daesh troops would appear in Syria due to the liberation operation of the Iraqi city of Mosul from Daesh terrorists.
In statements carried by Russian Sputnik news agency, Lavrov said "We -all countries- are interested in defeating Daesh".
The minister considered halted Russian and Syrian flights over Aleppo a goodwill gesture, hoping that Aleppo truce will lead to the separation of terrorists from the moderate opposition.
He added that in this case when militants leave Aleppo, the truce will be extended".
