
Lebanese army has discovered a booby-trapped car in Dahiyeh\'s Al-Maamoura neighbored, south of the capital Beirut. In a press statement, the Army Command-Guidance Directorate stated that the army forces have instantly cordoned off the area after suspecting a parking \"Grand Cherokee\" Jeep. After being examined by a number of concerned military experts, it was found that the car was loaded with explosive material, reads the statement, adding that \"work is still underway to dismantle the booby-trapped car\". Meanwhile, the state news agency (NNA) reported shooting and heavy shelling from the Syrian side into Lebanese territories on the outskirts of Akkar city. It noted that residents counted the fall of more than 15 shells from the Syrian side into Lebanon, but they did not report causalities so far.
