The judicial police arrested two individuals involved in auto-thefts after chasing them Thursday in a Beirut suburb, reported the National News Agency. The NNA said that Jack Firzli was arrested by members of a judicial police patrol in Arid Street, in the Beirut suburb of Ain al-Rummaneh. The police opened fire in the air when Khaled Abdallah, who was accompanying Firzli, managed to flee. He was detained later in the same area. Abdallah and Firzli, who hail from West Bekaa, are being investigated. The Daily Star
