Libya has informed Lebanon 10 people have been arrested on charges of involvement in the 1978 kidnapping of Imam Musa Sadr, officials said. Sadr, a Shiite leader, vanished with Sheik Mohammad Yaacoub and Abbas Badreddine, a Lebanese journalist, during an official visit to Libya, then ruled by Moammar Gadhafi. Those arrested include former army officers, a judicial source in Lebanon told The (Beirut) Daily Star. \"The arrested officers are not necessarily among those who took part in the kidnapping, but were bodyguards of prominent former Libyan regime figures who are believed to know the fate of Imam Sadr,\" the source said. Three top Lebanese officials, including Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour, met in Mauritania this week with Abdullah al-Senoussi, Gadhafi\'s former intelligence chief, who is being held there. Senoussi provided no useful information on Sadr\'s fate, and requests to question Gadhafi\'s son, Saif al-Islam, have been rejected.
