
Libya’s Prime Minister Ali Zeidan arrived in Istanbul, Turkey on Thursday in an effort to improve the countries' economic relations. Istanbul’s governor Huseyin Avni Mutlu and other officials greeted Zeidan after his private jet plane landed on Istanbul Ataturk Airport. In a meeting open to the press, Zeidan said his government is working hard to improve Libya in an effort to make it easier for Turkish businessmen to invest in the country. Stressing that efforts are made to improve Turkey and Libya’s relations, Istanbul Governor Mutlu said Zeidan’s visit to Turkey will contribute to the process.
