The border crossing of Ras Jedir will be reopened, next Monday, on the Libyan side, Tunisian security sources reported quoting Libyan officials. The same sources said Libya is keen to restore the circulation of persons and vehicles and calls on Tunisian authorities to show understanding in this transitory situation at the border. The Libyan authorities, who control the border crossing, on Saturday, prevented several Libyan cars from entering Tunisia. At the moment, only urgent humanitarian cases and diplomatic missions are allowed to cross the border. Tunisian authorities deployed at the border had decided, on Thursday, to open the border crossing on the Tunisian side.
