Limited fire at police facility subdued in Salmiya

A limited fire broke out at the Criminal Investigation Department premises in Salmiya, Hawali Governorate, on Thursday evening, the Ministry of Interior said in a statement. The Ministry blamed the fire on aa short-circuit at the air conditioning system. Firefighting team rushed to the scene and managed to control the fire, the statement said, adding that no human or material causalities were reported. An investigation was launched into the incident, it concluded.
