Lower House condemns Israeli attacks on Syria

The Lower House of Parliament has condemned recent Israeli air strikes on Syria and described them as a flagrant violation of a sovereign Arab state. It said the attacks will further exacerbate the deteriorating situation in Syria and expose the entire region to chaos and instability. The House said the air strikes were a flagrant violation of international laws and charters and urged the international community to shoulder its responsibilities to deal with the Israeli practices and put an end to the continued Israeli violations against the Syrian people and territory. The House also urged Arab countries to take immediate steps through the Arab League and the Arab Parliament and the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union to prevent a repetition of the continued Israeli violations against Syria.
