Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari said strong popular support has immunized the Islamic Republic ruling system against all dangers. “Majority of the people have chosen the path of supporting Islam and the Islamic system and they defend the (Islamic) establishment’s values,” Major General Jafari said. “… the Islamic Revolution is in good conditions and today the Islamic Revolution’s security is at its peak, while the enemies of the Islamic Iran hatched devilish plots to undermine security and create security problems, but, thanks God, they could not achieve success in any field,” the IRGC commander added. In similar remarks earlier this year, Major General Jafari underlined that the Iranian Armed Forces have the necessary capability to bring into action the Supreme Leader\'s warnings to enemies. “The deterrent warnings of the Supreme Leader of the (Islamic) Revolution to enemies are serious and based on the capacities and reality of the Islamic Iran\'s defensive power,\" Jafari said, addressing Iranian border guards units in the country\'s Northwestern regions in April. He said the IRGC is fully prepared to face all types of threat scenarios, and stated, \"We have supremacy and dominance and are in control of the developments in the region and we have created the necessary capacities to defend the revolution\'s achievements, the ruling system\'s causes and ideals and the national interest.\"\\
