Malaysia hails King’s efforts in support

The Malaysian government said that it supports efforts of His Majesty King Abdullah II to ensure peace and security in Jerusalem.
In a statement issued on Monday, the Malaysian Foreign Ministry said the current confrontations in Jerusalem are a dangerous escalation, and condemned Israel’s excessive use of force against unarmed Palestinians.
“Israel should also remove obstacles facing the entry to Al Aqsa Mosque/ Haram Al Sharif and stop actions that might change the status quo in Al Aqsa and East Jerusalem,” the statement added.
