Malaysia hopes conflict in Egypt resolved peacefully

The Malaysian Government hopes the conflict in Egypt will be resolved peacefully, and has urged all parties to refrain from using violence. A Malaysian Foreign Ministry statement said that Malaysia expressed deep concern on the situation in Egypt, which had taken many lives and injured thousands, according to the Malaysian (Bernama) News Agency. The statement addede that Malaysia is of the view that the authorities in Egypt need to hold serious dialogue with all interested parties to find a unifying path and formulate an effective and sustainable solution to resolve the issue. Malaysia will continue to monitor the situation in Egypt to ensure the safety of Malaysians there, said the statement.
