Global Justice Movement of Malaysia said the main objective of West’s antagonistic acts against Iran was to destroy Iran’s independence and resume dominance over it. In its website on Monday, the movement called for all-out confrontations with the US unilateral acts against Iran and said the collapse of the Pahlavi regime in Iran in 1979 greatly damaged interests of the US and Britain in the sensitive Middle East region which is the main hub of world’s gas and oil reserves. Stressing that the West has always been trying to harm the Islamic Republic of Iran, it noted that the eight-year war by the toppled Saddam Hossein, biased propaganda, political and economic campaign against Iran after the 9/11 and obstacles in the way of its nuclear program were just parts of West’s hostile acts against Iran. It also wrote that since 2005, the US has started a secret military campaign against Iran and in 2008 the Bush administration allocated a 400-million-dollar budget for terrorist operations by certain anti-Iran groups. The website further pointed to the assassination of the Iranian nuclear scientists by the CIA, Mussad and IM6 and the biased reports by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on Iran’s nuclear activities and said that the US, Canada and Britain have been using the latest IAEA report which contains false information to intensify sanctions against Iran; an act which is considered a form of declaring economic war against Tehran. It further believed that the exit of the UK diplomats from Iran on the occassion of the assassination anniversary of the Iranian nuclear scientists was another act to isolate Iran in international arena to pave the way for military actions against the country. Global Justice Movement of Malaysia stressed that the rumors the West was trying to spread against Iran was nothing new because it used similar things against Iraq before attacking it. It urged the world to stop any foolish acts by the US which might endanger both regional and global security.
