Mandela in satisfactory condition

Former South African President Nelson Mandela remains in a satisfactory condition at home after being discharged from hospital earlier this month, the Presidency said on Monday. \"He\'s stable. There\'s nothing to be concerned about. The doctors have not indicated anything to be concerned about,\" presidential spokesman Mac Maharaj said. Mandela was discharged from hospital on April 6 after spending nine days for recurrence of a lung infection in an unidentified hospital in Pretoria. This was the third time that Mandela was hospitalized since December last year when he was hospitalized for 18 days for a lung infection and gallstones. On March 9, Mandela was admitted to a hospital in Pretoria for a scheduled medical check-up to manage existing conditions in line with his age. He was discharged one day later. Mandela\'s failing health has been the focus of attention in the past recent years. His lung problem was the result of tuberculosis developed when he was in prison before elected the first black president of South Africa after the end of apartheid.
