
H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, today honoured the winners of the second edition of the 'Emirates Award for Human Resources in the Federal Government,' which was launched by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources two years ago.
Sheikh Mansour said the UAE, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has always paid great attention and appreciation of the human element, considering it as the 'true' capital of the country.
Sheikh Mansour said, "Our efficient and qualified human resources are the secret behind our progress. They are the real tools needed to achieve aspirations of the wise leadership based on the UAE's vision and national agenda, as well as for sustaining development in the post-oil era. This is so because any real sustainable and knowledge-based economy is people-centred."
Sheikh Mansour congratulated the winners and praised the performance of the ministry and various federal departments which take into account the best international practices in the field of human capital management and development, provide an attractive work environment based on creativity, innovation and the highest levels of functional harmony and happiness of employees and customers alike.
