Deputy Elie Marouni Tuesday said that the resignation of the government announced by Premier Najib Mikati was a good and positive sign. \"We got rid of some of those who dismantled the country and destroyed its tourism and economy as well as Lebanon\'s social ties on which we are very keen,\" he said. Marouni made these remarks at a ceremony held by Zahle Kataeb department in honor of the martyrs\' mothers on the occasion of Mother\'s Day, in presence of ranking dignitaries \"We have always demanded to grant women their full rights and to protect them from violence,\" he finally reminded.
