Medvedev: Merger of Supreme, Higher Arbitration Courts may take several years

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said the merger of the Supreme and Higher Arbitration Courts is a complex process and may take several years. “This is a complex process and I think it will take several years,” Medvedev said at a meeting with the members of the Bureau of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs’ Board on Wednesday, July 10. The prime minister expressed hope that “as a result we will get a proper system of justice.” He admitted that “often one flees to another jurisdiction because of the feeling that our courts can’t conduct an objective investigation.”
