Meetings at level of Arab-European senior officials kick off
European Union and Arab League foreign ministers in Cairo

The Arab League (AL) hosted on Sunday preparatory meetings at the level of senior officials from the Arab and European foreign ministries.
Today's meetings will probe the Ministerial Declaration, which will be discussed during the fourth meeting of the European-Arab ministerial council on Tuesday.
Director of the European Department at the Arab League Ambassador Ibrahim Mohie El Din said the draft declaration focuses on strategic cooperation between the Arab League and the European Union, in addition to political issues of mutual concern.
He added that the declaration probes also issues of counter-terrorism, illegal immigration and humanitarian aid.
