Mikati meets Fletcher over local situation

Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, on Thursday received at the Grand Serail the British Ambassador to Lebanon, Tom Fletcher, who called for an urgent dialogue among local political sides so as to face the current challenges in Lebanon, notably the Syrian displaced persons issue. Fletcher also called for the formation of a universal government as a dire necessity in the meantime. He also assured that the international community will seek through the meetings that will be held in September in New York to provide assistance and support for Lebanon.
