Morales\' plane heads back to Bolivia after refuels on Gran Canaria

Bolivian President Evo Morales\'s plane refueled on the island of Gran Canaria and headed back home, after being diverted to Vienna on Tuesday on suspicion of harburing fugitive U.S. leaker Edward Snowden. The plane was grouned in Vienna for 13 hours, after France and Portugal allegedly close their airspace to the plane. Shortly before leaving Vienna, Morales denounced the \"pretexts used by some European countries to try and scare\" him, and contrasted that with the solidarity shown by Austrian authorities. Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo assured on Wednesday that Spain had \"in no way\" prohibited the Bolivian leader from landing in Spanish territory. He also denied that Spain had requested permission to \"search the aircraft.\"
