
Morocco and China signed on Monday an agreement on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic passports, and protocol on a grant to Morocco. The agreement was signed by Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Salaheddine Mezouar and Chinese counterpart Wang Yi, who started a three-day official visit to Morocco earlier today. After the ceremony, the Moroccan Minister told reporters that the agreement falls within the framework of the creation of a favorable environment and strengthening bonding between Rabat and Beijing, stressing the common goal was to expand the horizons of bilateral cooperation in all fields. As far as the grant, the minister pointed out that the donation made by China for his country totaling Moroccan Dirham (MD) 27 million, which will be employed for the advancement of sectors related to human and social development.
