President Mohamed Morsi will receive Thursday a delegation of Port Said residents at the presidential palace in Heliopolis, read a statement by the presidency. The meeting will be attended by representatives of executive authorities in the canal city, added the statement. It also added that President Morsi will meet with anti-riot police officers on Friday to express appreciation to their role in maintaining security of the homeland. In addition, he will pay a visit to Sohag, Upper Egypt, during which he will hand over contracts of new housing units and head a mini-ministerial meeting to discuss development of the Upper Egyptian governorates. On Sunday, Morsi will receive a group of athletes and heads of sport clubs to discuss various issues, added the statement.
