Egyptian President Mohamed Morsy on Tuesday met with German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle, currently on a visit to Cairo. The meeting discussed bilateral relations and means of further enhancing them, in addition to Germany\'s assistance to Egypt in reclaiming smuggled assets, and supporting it in the fields of civil society, and educational and youth scholarships. Westerwelle invited Morsy, on behalf of Chancellor Angela Merkel, to visit Germany, Egyptian presidency acting spokesman Yasser Ali said. The German official is the first foreign minister to visit Egypt after Morsy\'s election. He held talks with Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohamed Amr on Monday, which focused mainly on tourism and investment.
